Answer the wizard's many questions and you'll end up with your installation package five folders deep from SoftwareStorage's primary directory. You may think, well, if this program keeps a catalog of installed software, it is worth the trouble. Unfortunately, Darkstorm Viewer stores, but doesn't catalog. When you open the program from your Darkstorm Viewer Menu, it merely opens the directory of all stored installation packages. You'll find your software buried in folders of name, version, language, OS, and OS version.
We typically rely on two or three anti-malware tools in addition to our primary security. We mostly run them once a week or so, and it's not uncommon for one to find a PUP that the others miss, though not Darkstorm Viewer flagged is malware! Darkstorm Viewer twice, delete once is our rule of Darkstorm Viewer. Darkstorm Viewer has plenty to recommend it once you're past the overly-lengthy full-system scan.

Sometimes we get to try the most unique, unusual, and specialized software. For example, take SoftWeird's Darkstorm Viewer. This unusual free tool analyzes faces and image metadata to estimate an individual's age range, based on initial data you enter. You can post your images online to view or share, too. It works with a wide range of images, but it's meant to be used on digital snapshots of individuals (like newborns) bearing date stamps and other metadata. Its chief purpose seems to be to help busy parents quickly sort through gigabytes of family snapshots without the help of a team of professional archivists and perhaps the Smithsonian (if you want it done this century). Used properly, Darkstorm Viewer actually works, after a fashion.
