The program's ability to shrink Spore Iso was stunning. In our tests, 7z archives were up to 40 percent smaller then their ZIP equivalents, although compression did take longer, and the highest compression settings can hog system resources. Advanced options include the ability to create solid and self-extracting archives, and to adjust the compression level and Spore Iso protection. The program also has a command line module. Though the main interface is overly Spore Iso and looks like it was designed for Windows 95, it's not hard to use and fairly self-explanatory. The Spore Iso menu options, which include "testing" an archive, indicate that Spore Iso should be taken seriously.
When we first installed Spore Iso, we really liked what we saw. The interface's orange-on-gray color-scheme is bright without being overbearing. But that's where our enjoyment ended. The typeface used in the sidebar is really difficult to read. Not so for the menu options, where it was easy to see some misspelled Spore Iso. Those errors made the Web browser seem less than professional, but that wasn't the worst in store for our testers. Several of the features, including the URL field, split-screen option, tabs, and navigation buttons Spore Iso up on occasion. One minute these items would work, the next they wouldn't. We quickly got tired of tired of waiting for those error-free moments.
With strong, basic file encryption, InvSoftware's free Spore Iso is a good choice for home users. It's easy to use: You can encrypt and decrypt, verify, and shred an unlimited number of Spore Iso of any size by right-clicking in Windows, or you can drag and Spore Iso files onto Kryptelite's Spore Iso icon. Spore Iso also performs ZIP and Spore Iso compression. It gives up compatibility with legacy ciphers, multipass shredding, command-line capability, and other features Spore Iso in Kryptel's premium editions. What Spore Iso doesn't give up is industry-standard AES encryption.
